 Caregiving & Frail Elder Care  

Caregivers and their families can find help for their loved ones through our Frail Elder Services and Adult Day programs. Care coordination and case managment help older adults age with dignity while residing in their own homes avoiding premature institutionalization. Realizing that both caregivers and their loved ones benefit from time off from each other, the Ellis Friendship Center and three of its sattelites offer adult day services that provide stimulating activities in a secure environment. Caregivers also get emotional support and helpful information through support groups at the Center.

Adult Day Services are available at the following centers on
Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 3PM:
  

St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church

The Ellis County Friendship Center

St. Mary's Elder Hostel

Eastbrook Community Center

Our program also supports the caregivers. We understand the that those who care for others often have no one to offer them the support and nuturing that they need, so we have started several Caregiver Support Groups.  Here are the locations and times:
